9th March'18 was an indelible day in the best-books of National Institute of Personnel Management (NIPM) and Christ (Deemed to be University). It has not only inspired the large congregation of aspiring minds but has also stimulated their thought processes and have compelled them to think bigger and better. The conference ignited the minds of fledgling students who will soon have a transition from classrooms to organizations. STUNA'18 was organized with the objective to prepare students so that they can take up any challenge in the corporates and evolve as unsurpassed future leaders.
The inspiring speaker of that day was Mr. Suresh Narayan, Chairman and Managing Director, Nestle India was the Chief Guest of STUNA'18. Mr. Narayan, the dynamic and influential Leader who has a rich experience and leadership has been the greatest weapon in crisis situation of Nestle India enabling the company to emerge from a state of Maggie Crisis to a first Pure Play F&B company having 10,000 Crores turnover discussed about his experiences from his childhood and the journey of becoming an iconic leader. Mr. Narayan acknowledged and expressed his gratitude to his teachers who he believes have left their imprints and have shaped his personality
Dr. Krishna Prasad, Country Director Delphi India, speaking eloquently about “ Transition from Classroom to Corporate, Mr. Deshpande, Ms. Neeti Sharma and Mr. Suman Tikade mesmerized the crowd with their encouraging and inspiring talks invigorating the students and enhancing their urge of trying something new and challenging in their life. “Koshish karne walon ki kabhi haar nahi hoti” (: meaning the one who tries never fails) was the biggest learning of the students from this session.
Mr. C. S. Sudheer, Founder & CEO, IndianMoney.com, Mr. Anto Philip, Former Christite, Co-founder, Under 25 Club and Urvashi, Former Christite, CEO – Have you Eten motivated the students by discussing about their venture. They cited the challenges they have faced in getting into the position they are in today. The biggest learning from this session was that every dream accomplishes when one gets ready to face any challenge that comes on its way
Mr. Rajiv Krishnan, CEO & Country Managing Director, Korn Ferry Hay Group, India started the valedictory the Mega Trends which would be shaping the future. He emphasised upon Adaptability as the key to future. To this he further added that Government, Organization, Academia and Students would be the Ecosystem in which the present generation would be working.
The conclusion to this wonderful conference came with the words of several important people.Mr. Dasgupta praised the audience for being throughout the program for their enthusiasm and zeal. He said that the NIPM student chapter inaugurated at Christ University must be coordinated with NIPM Bangalore chapter so as to be connected for all the monthly meetings. Mr. Girinarayan, Chairman of the organising committee said that the transition of team from an idea to reality was in sync to the topic running your career marathon from classroom to corporate. He, like the rest of us was overwhelmed by the success of conference.
